Three women. One boat. Rowing across the Atlantic Ocean.
In December 2025, we will row across the Atlantic Ocean. In an ocean rowing boat we will encounter sea life, big waves, beautiful sunsets and especially; ourselves.
This row goes beyond a physical challenge. This adventure is the perfect opportunity to create a community for a healthy world. We row for Mind Us, a charity that uses exercise to improve mental health. Will you join our mission?

About the row
Find some answers on frequently asked questions here
WHY DO YOU WANT TO DO THIS?
Yes, that is often the first question people ask when we tell about our adventure. The answer is easy; we have a very deep desire to cross that ocean. In our team we all have a rowing background. And the challenge and bizarre adventure appeals to us. You can read more about our individual motivations on the team page.
WHAT TYPE OF BOAT IS IT?
This is an ocean rowing boat. The boats are specially designed to get us safe across the ocean. They flip back when we capsize. In the two cabins we rest and sleep.
WHAT IS YOUR ROUTE?
We will depart from La Gomera, in the Canary Islands. We will depart in December 2025. We arrive in Antiqua. The row is 3000 miles, that is 4800 kilometers.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE YOU?
It depends on the weather. But our goal is: 45 days. Of course we have to deal with setbacks, currents, and the weather. It will ask a lot of resilience to get to your goal!
WHERE DO YOU EAT, SLEEP, SHOWER?
In the two cabins you see in the rowing boat. We don’t leave the boat to sleep or eat. Our whole life will take place on that ocean rowing boat. Our shower is a dip in the ocean. After that, you rinse yourself with water from the watermaker (that purifies the ocean water). We go to the toilet in a bucket. Buck it and tuck it!
